From Marketing Director to Creative Freelancer, I walked away from a six-figure role to build something of my own. Today, I work with purpose-led clients to create intentional, story-driven social media that connects and converts.
My Story:
Starting as an agency assistant in Brighton, I worked my way up to Creative Director at a best-selling beachwear brand on ASOS, and later became Marketing Director at a high-growth fintech start-up in Canary Wharf.
On paper, I had it all. I was living in Central London, earning six figures, with a prestigious title I was proud of and a clear path ahead of me - But...
I could see a bigger picture. One where I could build something of my own, work with multiple brands and founders I truly believe in, and create with intention and passion every single day, on my own terms.
(My family thought I was crazy for walking away from it all)
And that's where By Jade Knight began.
In 2024, I made the decision to take my freelance work full-time. Since then, I've delivered results like £1.6M+ in ad revenue and 7,000+ leads for clients, alongside creating campaigns for brands including Boohoo, PrettyLittleThing and Elemis.
I work closely with each client, particularly fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, to craft strategy-led, story-driven social media that actually moves the needle, whether that's more engagement, stronger brand presence, or paid campaigns that convert. From organic management and influencer marketing to Meta & LinkedIn ads and website design, everything is grounded in strategy, not just trendy reels.
